Van der Garde: “We were well on the pace this morning. I was able to complete the fastest lap of the day in the morning on used tyres and with that time I stayed on top of the timesheets for the rest of the day. In the afternoon we used new tyres and made some changes to the pedals but we soon found out there were some problems.
“The car Cram gave me to test fits my driving style much better than the car I raced with this season. The Victory Engineeringcar had a lot of understeer and I find that difficult to deal with. I prefer to have some oversteering in the car and with the car at Cram I had a lot of grip in front of the car. It's a huge difference.”
On Thursday Giedo will continue testing with the Cram team.
