Giedo van der Garde ended his two-day test session with the DAMS GP2 team at Paul Ricard with a disappointing 22nd time. Due to the many red flags he could hardly complete his scheduled program and apart from that his two fastest lap times were deleted for cutting a chicane at the French track.

Giedo van der Garde: “It was a reasonable day. In the morning the team wanted to complete a simulation with new tyres. Unfortunately that didn't go too well. The new Bridgestone tyres just don't seem to work on our car. With used tyres the car feels a lot better. When we were trying to complete a few flying laps red flags interrupted us. In the afternoon we busied ourselves with the set-up of the car but that didn't go too easy unfortunately.”
“The GP2 season is finished now and at the moment I'm not sure yet what the plan is for next season. I have a number of offers and will have to consider them. It will be an interesting winter, that's for sure!”
