Giedo fastest at Magny-Cours
The French Grand Prix weekend started well for Giedo van der Garde. The Victory Engineering driver finished the first day on top of the timesheets. Van der Garde completed his fastest lap in the afternoon in 1m26,764.

Giedo said: “This is just the way we wanted to start our weekend here at Circuit de Nevers! The car feels great really. It handles perfect to be honest and I believe we can do really well during the race here on Saturday and Sunday. In tomorrow's qualifying session I hope to win some time in the first sector because we already got the maximum I believe in the second and third sector. I'm convinced we can show our true pace here.”
