After a difficult race weekend at Donington Giedo van der Garde is hoping to get his revenge on his rivals at the French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours this weekend. According to the Dutchman the Circuit de Nevers should suit him well. Giedo is confident he can show his true performance in France.

“The race at Donington was really dramatic,” Giedo said. “Our speed was ok, but in qualifying we didn’t get the right tyre pressure. We also had a couple of red flags so I didn’t get one proper flying lap together. The race started well but when everyone entered the pitlane at the same time I got stuck behind someone. I was the last to leave the pitlane and that pretty much ended my race weekend in England.”
”Magny-Cours should be much better for our car, and it’s a track I really like. It’s a bit unfortunate that I’ve been a bit ill but I hope to make the best of it this weekend!”
